About Us
Oz Vents Co was born from very humble beginnings on Facebook Marketplace and the simple but tried and tested method of word of mouth.
We realised early on that ordering and having your roof ventilation installed shouldn't be so painful. Gone are the days of calling the large roofing companies for a quote and never getting a callback. Or flipping through the free local neighbourhood newspapers and hoping to find a whirlybird ad.
The more we visited with our customers and listened to your feedback, the more we realised there had to be a better way. We started with Marketplace Ads and a Gmail account and we continue to improve with our website and the product lines that we have on offer today.
From our founder's Marketplace and Gmail beginnings, we developed the online ordering system with a previous partner. We pioneered the online ordering system in Victoria. And at Oz Vents Co we've worked to improve that ordering system and make it as simple as possible with our Pick-Purchase-Plan™ ordering system; Pick your Colour & Quantity, Purchase your Product and Plan for your Installations.
We’ve made things so simple and risk free that we now do more than half our installations while our customers are at work or otherwise away from home. But we're not done there as we continue to grow and improve and most importantly, we continue to listen to our customers.
We are now a team of tradesmen, installers, roof plumbers and engineers with over 75 years combined experience in the home and commercial ventilation industries.
After an initial start-up in the industry, our founder decided to expand beyond that initial partnership and installation business to serve the industry and our customers in a more expansive and comprehensive way.
As such we've assembled a team that is not only highly skilled with installations across all roofing styles and configurations and we're now also partnering with a group of engineers who can design a ventilation and airflow solution that is optimal for your business and your specific commercial facility.
But not to worry, we haven't forgotten our residential background. We got our start installing one whirlybird at a time. One home at a time. On tile and Colorbond roofs.
We currently service all of Melbourne Metro and surrounds. From Phillip Island to Geelong. From Cranbourne to Craigieburn. We've learned a lot from our loyal residential customers along the way. And we'll never refuse the offer of a cold drink on a hot day when we finish up another home whirlybird installation.
We are very appreciative of all our loyal customers who've helped us get to this point. We're quite proud of where we've come from and even more excited about where we're going.
